ATTRACTIONS
Local information, places of Interest and days out
Belfast
is a city that has endured many
troubles over its history, yet the strong spirit of
the people ensures it remains a lively and vibrant
city. A ride on board the Citybus bus will soon
acquaint you with the city’s major landmarks and
there are over 50 parks and an amazing 30,000 acres of
greenery to be enjoyed. The centre has an increasing
number of shops, bars and restaurants and in
particular the newly regenerated waterfront area is
definitely worth a visit.
Dublin
If you can’t enjoy yourself in Dublin you have to ask
yourself where can you? The friendly people, the varied sights
and numerous bars, make Dublin a great place to visit. Temple
Bar for those unfamiliar with Dublin, is home of the greatest
concentration of pubs and bars, packed full of both locals and
visitors alike, all enjoying the famous Irish craic. Guinness
flows freely in all the pubs but some are more authentic in
their atmosphere than others, so visiting different places is
obligatory to really get a feel for the place. In addition,
many of the pubs also host regular live music events that add
to the party like spirit that exists here throughout the
year.
